FRESHERS CAMPAIGN
Thriving towards a continuous learning & improvement for the youth of South Africa.
Introduction
Advanced Assessments and Training is embarking on an exciting initiative that is aimed at targeting the unemployed youth of South Africa. Our campaign is called the ‘Freshers Campaign’. This campaign aims to upskill recent high school graduates, providing them with work-based training opportunities referred to as learnerships. Our initiative involves visiting schools in our area to inform learners about the benefits of participating in a learnership and recruit interested learners onto the programme.
During these visits, we will also collect the relevant personal documents to verify their enrollment status in the Sector Education and Training Authority’s (SETA) Learner Management Information System (LMIS). Learners not currently enrolled in any learnership will be invited for an interview, and successful candidates will be considered for a learnership opportunity.
FRESHERS CAMPAIGN PURPOSE
To support educationally and economically disadvantaged students, particularly those who have completed matric or are enrolled in secondary schools with low college-going rates, by providing assistance to strengthen their basic academic skills and increase their opportunities for higher education and career success.
Doing so by collaborating with local schools, universities, businesses, and non-profit organisations to enhance program offerings and provide additional resources.
