What is Bank Seta

The Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BANKSETA) is a statutory organization formed under the Skills Development Act of 1998, later revised by the Skills Development Act 26 of 2011. Its mission is to support stakeholders in enhancing the national and international standing of the banking and alternative banking sectors. In alignment with its mandate, BANKSETA acts as a catalyst for transformation, aiming to foster employment equity and broad-based black economic empowerment through skills development initiatives.
