TETA

The Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) is dedicated to creating a progressive and globally competitive workforce by facilitating skills development programs that align with the objectives of the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) and address the evolving needs of the transport sector.

TETA’s key responsibilities include: developing a sector skills plan (SSP); facilitating the creation, registration, and implementation of learnerships, skills programs, and strategic initiatives; approving workplace skills plans (WSPs); distributing grants to stakeholders; and ensuring the quality of education and training within the sector.
